Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Pothos Digital ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Visualize AI mobile application and related services (the "Application"). Visualize AI lets users upload room photos, describe design changes, generate AI-edited images, save or share results, and manage subscriptions.

Information Collection and Use

We collect information you provide directly, information created when you use the Application, and limited technical information from your device. This may include:

• Your account identifier and, if you sign in, your name and email address from Apple or Google
• Photos you select or capture in the Application, which are sent to our AI providers for processing
• Prompts, style choices, design settings, generation titles, FAL-hosted image URLs, dimensions, status, and usage history
• Subscription status, product identifiers, purchase and renewal metadata, and usage limits
• Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
• Screens and features you use, the time and date of use, and events such as onboarding, paywall, generation, restore purchase, and review-prompt interactions
• Device details such as operating system, app version, device model, and identifiers used for analytics, attribution, or subscription support

The Application does not request precise GPS location. If you grant photo library access, photos may contain embedded metadata created by your device. The Application requests access to your camera and photo library only so you can upload photos, take photos, save generated images, and share results.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Application
• Generate AI-edited images and related metadata from your submitted photos and prompts
• Create and maintain your account, generation history, and subscription access
• Analyze app performance, feature usage, onboarding, purchases, and support issues
• Respond to support requests and include optional diagnostic details you send to us
• Prevent abuse, enforce usage limits, and comply with legal obligations

We may contact you with service-related notices, support responses, and important updates. We will only send marketing communications where permitted by law.

AI Processing and User Content

When you generate a design, the photo and prompt you submit are sent to our backend and third-party AI providers to create the requested output. We use FAL to process your photo and generate the edited image, and OpenAI to generate short design metadata such as titles.

We do not store your original uploaded photos in your account or retain them in our backend after processing. FAL hosts the generated images and provides URLs for those outputs. We store prompts, titles, FAL image URLs, dimensions, and generation status in our backend so you can view, edit, save, share, or delete your generations.

Third Party Access

We share information with service providers that help us operate the Application, process AI requests, manage subscriptions, authenticate users, provide analytics and attribution, deliver app updates, and respond to support issues. These providers may process personal information on our behalf or under their own terms and policies.

We may disclose user-provided and automatically collected information:

• as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
• when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
• with trusted service providers who work on our behalf, do not have an independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Saving, Sharing, and Shopping

If you choose to save or share a generated image, the Application uses your device's photo library and share-sheet features. If you use the Shop feature, the Application opens Google Lens with the generated image URL so Google can provide shopping results.

Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

We use analytics tools such as PostHog to understand how the Application is used and improve the product. We also use RevenueCat and Meta/Facebook SDK features for purchase attribution and app event measurement. Where required, the Application asks for tracking permission before enabling advertiser tracking or collecting device identifiers for these purposes.

Local Storage

The Application stores authentication tokens securely on your device and may cache app data locally to make the experience faster and more reliable. You can clear local app data by using the device's app removal or storage controls.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop future collection by uninstalling the Application. You can also decline optional permissions such as camera, photo library, and tracking permissions, although some features may not work without them. You may delete your account or erase app data from the Application settings.

Data Retention Policy

We retain account, generation, usage, and subscription records for as long as needed to provide the Application, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you delete your account or erase app data, we delete your app account, generation records, usage records, and subscription records stored in our backend. Images hosted by FAL or other third-party providers may remain subject to those providers' retention practices. Some information may also remain in backups, logs, app store purchase systems, or analytics tools for a limited period.

If you would like to request access, correction, or deletion of your information, contact us at support@visualizeai.app and we will respond in a reasonable time.

Children

We do not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us (support@visualizeai.app) so that we can take the necessary actions.

Security

We use physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect the information we process and maintain. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of changes by updating this page. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
